Our international family of orchestras includes five of the world’s leading ensembles, with whom we’ve developed innovative new partnerships. In the 2011 – 2012 season the Leipzig Gewandhaus Orchestra, New York Philharmonic and Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra will be making the Barbican their home, and in 2012 – 2013 the Los Angeles Philharmonic and the Jazz at Lincoln Centre Orchestra return with their first residencies.
