Catering
Searcy, our in-house caterers, will provide anything from afternoon tea for 10, a plated lunch for 250, a champagne breakfast for 750, or a cocktail party or fork buffet for 2,000. We have set catering tariffs but are happy to discuss any particular requirements you may have - please liaise with your Event Manager.
The menus automatically include a vegetarian option, and other dietary requirements can always be met with prior notice (eg Kosher, Halal, vegan) although sometimes with a supplementary charge. The Centre does not permit external catering companies. The Barbican Centre alcohol licenses run until 23.00 for most venues. At least 21 days notice is required if an extension to this licence is needed.
Additional catering charges
Please note there is a minimum catering charge of £60 + VAT. This is for smaller events, whose catering requirement total is less than £60, for a 4 hour period. There may be additional charges made for out-of-hours catering (before 07.00 or after 23.00). Bespoke quotes will be provided by your Event Manager in all cases.
